About Adrian
Adrian Ashtari leads clinical operations at Verexa Health, overseeing study startup, site activation, sponsor and CRO coordination, staff training, recruitment strategy, and day-to-day trial execution. He has helped develop Verexa’s community-based research model, which brings industry-sponsored studies into trusted physician practices serving diverse and historically underrepresented patient populations.
His interest in clinical research grew from working directly with patients in community clinics, where he saw how language, trust, cost, and access often determined whether someone received care. His training at the University of Michigan in public health and entrepreneurship shaped his approach to solving those barriers through clinical research and health technology. Adrian has worked on initiatives involving vaccine outreach, emergency medical information, and barriers to research participation. He brings that same patient-centered perspective to Verexa, focusing on building studies that are operationally strong while remaining practical for the physicians and communities involved.
